Congrats, you’ve been tasked with planning a bachelorette party (or perhaps you want to give this to someone who will be planning yours)! Planning any event is a lot of work. Combine that with your busy life and it can seem overwhelming. This bachelorette party planning tool was created to help you approach planning in an orderly, efficient, and organized way.
The workbook contains NINE different sheets to help you plan a fantastic bachelorette party:
🎉 1) To-Do List: Includes 25 different tasks already pre-populated and divided by timing of completion (from 3+ months’ out to after the event). Tasks can be edited and there is space for one additional task in each group. When you check off an item, the tool crosses it out.
🎉 2) Bride Survey: Sit down with the bride and ask her these questions. This will help guide the planning process and paint a picture of what she’s looking for.
🎉 3) Attendee List: This is where you write out all the people invited, whether or not they are attending, and other pertinent details.
🎉 4) Ideas List: Allow attendees to help research ideas for accommodation, activities, and meals. This sheet gives you a space for documenting everyone’s ideas and will help to develop the itinerary after consulting with the groom and/or the other guests.
🎉 5) Itinerary: Plan out all the details of your trip on a day to day basis. Up to 5 days are included. There is an overview section to list out the day’s main activity, accommodation, transportation needs, and dining plans; as well as a timeline that runs from 6:00 AM to 3:00 AM the next day in 30-minute increments.
🎉 6) Travel Details: Have a clear picture of everyone’s arrival/departure times and their mode of transportation. This will help you to ensure everyone has transportation booked and allow you to keep tabs on potential flight delays. If you plan to self-drive around your destination, there is also an automated calculator that lets you know if you need additional cars/seats.
🎉 7) Budget: This sheet provides a summary and detailed overview of the financial obligation for the bachelorette party, both as a combined total and per person. Input the total budget for the various categories in the “Budget Breakdown” table. The actual expenses will automatically populate from all the transactions you input into the Transactions table. Finally, indicate whether or not the groom is contributing to the payments in the “Per Person Cost Calculator” table. This will ensure the cost per person is calculated accurately. This sheet also provides automated calculations of how much each person has spent, and how much money they owe or are due based on the total per person expenditure. Charts are also included for visual references.
🎉 8) Printable Task Assigner: You don’t have to do it all! Delegate tasks to different attendees to help complete your to-do list. Fill out the printable task assigner with the relevant tasks, responsible party, and due date. If you are using the Google Sheets version, you can share this document with the attendees and everyone can update their own tasks upon completion. Alternatively, you can send this page to them either digitally or on paper.
🎉 9) Packing List: Prepare a general packing list to send out to all attendees to ensure that no one forgets anything! Suggested items have been provided as a guide.
There are many different built-in formulas to minimize your inputs and maximize your efficiency.
